Frederic Chopin, a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist, is considered one of the greatest masters of Romantic music. Although Chopin spent his adult life in Paris, his work was often inspired by Polish folk music and national history. To this date his compositions have gained a worldwide recognition and have been an inspiration to many other artists.
The manor house in Zelazowa Wola, where Chopin was born in 1810, became one of the main destinations for his admirers from the whole world. The museum, established here in 1930s presents original furniture, instruments and several personal items.
In summer time there are piano concerts held in the manor house and park every Sunday.
